2. General Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: “GTC”) apply to all services provided by Knowhouse Consulting Ltd. (hereinafter: “Service Provider”) that are utilised by the Customer (hereinafter: “Customer”). By using the services, the Customer accepts the terms and conditions set out in this GTC.
3. Scope of Services
The services provided by Knowhouse Consulting Ltd. include, but are not limited to:
- Business modelling, business and strategic consulting
- Financial analysis and planning
- Project management
- Organisational development
- Organisation and delivery of training programmes, seminars, and workshops
- Operation of business communities
4. Formation of Contract
The contract is established upon the Service Provider’s written confirmation of the Customer’s written order or offer, or through the conclusion of a separate agreement.
In the case of online registration or online service orders:
- By submitting an online registration for an event, consultation, or training service, the Customer electronically submits an offer to enter into a contract.
- The contract is established when the Service Provider confirms the Customer’s registration electronically (via email or through the website).
- The Service Provider shall confirm receipt of the registration electronically within a maximum of one week. If the Customer does not receive confirmation within this period, the Customer is released from the binding nature of the offer.
- The language of contract formation and confirmation is Hungarian or / and English.
- The Service Provider sends electronic confirmation of the online registration, specifying the establishment of the contract, the exact details of the ordered service, payment terms, and key details regarding the event or service.
5. Payment Terms
The fees for services are determined individually by agreement in each case:
- The Service Provider issues an invoice, which the Customer must pay by bank transfer to the Service Provider’s designated bank account within 8 days of invoice issuance.
- In the event of late payment, interest for late payment shall be charged according to the Hungarian Civil Code.
- For online registration or online service orders:
- The Customer shall pay the service fee in advance via online bank card payment or bank transfer, based on the electronic proforma invoice or invoice sent by the Service Provider.
- The service fee must be credited to the Service Provider’s account at the latest 1 business day before the starting date of the event or service.
- The Customer is only entitled to participate in the event or to use the consulting/training service once full payment has been completed.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
The Parties undertake to treat all information obtained during the performance of the contract as confidential.

For online registrations or online service orders:
- By submitting an online registration or order form, the Customer explicitly consents to the processing of personal data solely for the purpose of contract performance, invoicing, communication, and fulfilling obligations prescribed by law.
- The Service Provider treats personal data confidentially and uses it only to the extent necessary for contract performance and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. Warranty and Liability
The Service Provider warrants that its services are delivered according to professional standards. The Service Provider is liable exclusively for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence and expressly excludes liability for indirect damages or loss of profit.
For online registrations or online service provision:
- The Service Provider is not liable for any damages arising from technical faults or IT issues experienced by the Customer, which may prevent or restrict the Customer’s ability to use the services.
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring the necessary technical conditions (stable internet connection, appropriate hardware and software environment) to access the service.
8. Termination of Contract
The contract may be terminated:
- upon fulfilment
- by mutual agreement
- by ordinary termination (with a notice period, e.g., 30 days)
- by immediate termination in the event of a serious breach of contract.
For online registration or online service orders:
- If the Customer does not participate in the ordered online event or service and fails to notify the Service Provider in writing at least 2 working days before the start date of the event or service, the Service Provider is entitled to retain the paid fee and is not obliged to refund it.
- The Customer may indicate the intention to withdraw from the service in writing electronically (via email) within the deadline specified above.
9. Right of Withdrawal
The Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days before the commencement of the service. The intention to withdraw must be communicated to the Service Provider electronically in writing (by email).
In the case of online registrations, the Customer explicitly acknowledges that if the Service Provider has commenced providing the service with the prior consent of the Customer, the Customer forfeits the full right of withdrawal.
If the Customer exercises this right after the service provision has already commenced, the Customer is required to reimburse the Service Provider for services already delivered.

Customers may submit complaints regarding the services through the following channels:

The Service Provider is required to investigate complaints within 30 days and respond to the Customer in writing or electronically.
11. Settlement of Disputes
The Parties agree to settle any disputes arising from the contract primarily through amicable negotiations.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the Parties stipulate the exclusive jurisdiction of the Pesti Központi Kerületi Bíróság (Central District Court of Pest), competent at the registered office of the Service Provider, for the settlement of any legal disputes arising from the contract.
12. Miscellaneous Provisions
- Matters not regulated by these General Terms and Conditions (GTC) shall be governed by applicable Hungarian law, particularly the Civil Code (Ptk.) and the legislation governing electronic commerce.
- If any provision of these GTC becomes partially or fully invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such cases, the Parties undertake to replace the invalid provision with one that best reflects the original intent.

In the case of online registration or orders, by completing the form and ticking the appropriate checkbox, the Customer explicitly accepts these GTC and the content of the Privacy Policy.
